My Doula and Birth Education Services
Welcome to Bumblebee Birthing! I believe that birth is a powerful and transformative life event and that doula support should be a right, not a privilege. Find out below how I can support you in curating your birth team and vision, advocating for true informed consent, having an empowered birthing experience, preparing for postpartum and more!
Birth Doula Services
Your birth is yours. As your doula, my goals are for you to feel supported, empowered and informed. Whether you’re birthing at home, the hospital or a birth center; I want you to have a positive birth experience, whatever that looks like for you! Need a dancing queen to pump up the labor room energy? A calm, quiet spiritual guide? A fierce advocate? A knowledgable companion? A vibe fairy? I might be the right fit for you!
Comprehensive Birth Education Classes
You don’t know what you don’t know, right? I’m a strong believer that in order to have true informed consent, you need to know all your options and feel safe in your decision-making. I’ve had the privilege of teaching these classes to hundreds of families since 2021 and have seen first-hand, what a world of difference non-biased, comprehensive education can make in the pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience.
Placenta Prints
Placentas are incredible. Your body literally grows an entirely new organ, which sustains and nourishes your baby to grow and thrive until they’re ready to arrive earth-side. There are many ways to honor your baby’s placenta and placenta prints are one option that you and your family can enjoy for many years (even generations) to come! As a lover of ceremony, ritual and all things arts and crafts; creating placenta prints brings me great joy!
Birth Doula Services
I believe that knowledge is power, which is why my birth doula package includes a comprehensive birth education series! You choose whether you’d like to signup for a 6-week series or a 2-day immersive.
I also believe that I can best support you if we have the opportunity to really establish a relationship prenatally. You will have up to 8 prenatal and postpartum support visits (we decide together how we’d like to split those between prenatal and postpartum care).
Wondering what we’ll cover in those visits? I’m here to provide all the non-medical/clinical aspects of support. While I’m not a therapist, our visits can be very therapeutic (and educational)! My support (prenatally and during your birth) can look like…
Physical preparation (think tips and movements to help prepare for birth as well as hands-on comfort measures for pregnancy and birth)
Emotional processing (I’m always here to provide a non-judgmental listening ear)
Mental support (with referrals to mental health professionals whenever needed and/or desired)
Educational (knowledge is power, baby! Always text me before you go down that Google rabbit hole)
Preparing the whole family (I love when any and all birth partners and other family members/chosen family can be involved in the process. I’m a former preschool teacher and would love to help prepare your young child for being an older sibling. I want them to feel supported and involved too)
Logistical/practical (community resources and referrals, when to call me, where to go, what to ask your provider etc etc)
Advocacy (you deserve to be empowered, informed and heard always…I also love to empower partners with advocacy tools)
Spiritual (I’m here to help support any spiritual practices you may have and as a meditation guide, I can curate individualized meditations just for you)
Birth vision curating and processing (a huge part of creating your birth preferences is the process itself)
Continuous labor and birth support. Think of me as your back-pocket bestie and guide. Not sure if it’s a contraction you’re feeling? Call me! Think you lost your mucus plug? I promise nothing is TMI - send me that pic! We stay in touch during early labor and I join you in active labor. You’ll have continuous doula support from active labor through the first couple hours after baby is born. It’s always such an incredible honor to be invited into someone’s birthing journey.
Postpartum visits. Once your baby is earth-side, I come to your house within the first week after birth for a visit. We might process your birth, talk about feeding, healing, newborn care, home life etc. This is your time and I’m there to support you and your family in whatever ways feel best.
Call and text support for those first two months postpartum. This can be an incredibly transformational time in life. Let’s be honest—our culture doesn’t provide the well-rounded type and length of support that we need in those early days of healing and parenting. Having a doula in your back pocket can be one piece of helping you and your family to feel more supported in those early days. I’m not currently providing extended postpartum services, but can send you referrals! It’s a privilege to be a part of your village.
I’m new to California (recent transplant from Colorado in August 2025), but will be taking insurance soon!
For those paying out-of-pocket, I offer three price tiers and am very flexible on payment plan structures. The following fees INCLUDE birth classes:
Community (more accessible pricing for those experiencing financial stress): $2200
Ally (sustainable pricing that meets the cost of birth doula and birth educator services): $2400
Advocate (for those without financial barriers, which allows further accessibility for others) : $2600
*If you are taking birth classes elsewhere and will not be taking classes with me, my rates slide from $1800-$2200
I do not ask for any of your financial information, but rather, operate on a system of trust. I have these tiered options because accessibility is a core value of mine. Everyone deserves a doula.

Comprehensive Birth Education Classes
I take a comprehensive approach to my teaching style. A lot of soul with a touch of humor too. Learning should be fun! Yes, there will be a lot of information, but my hope is that it’s provided to you in a way that feels engaging and interactive. We will cover everything from birth hormones and medical pain management options to water births and hands-on comfort measures. From induction methods and Cesarean births to basic lactation, the amazing placenta and honoring the golden hour. The isn’t just a course on the stages of labor. We go deep. We dive in. We’ll process through story, art, role play and meditation and don’t worry—we’ll do plenty of breathing too! This is a place to learn, grow, empower yourselves and build community.
As a neurodivergent individual, it’s important to me that this information feels accessible and inclusive. All are welcome in this space. I do my best to provide up-to-date evidence-based information with a trauma-informed approach. These classes are a wonderful opportunity to learn, but also to get vulnerable, process and meet other expectant parents! Built into the content will also be a series of short meditations meant to help you prepare for you birthing journey. These recordings, along with many resources, will also be provided to you to keep. Whether you’re planning a hospital, birth center or home birth—these classes are for you and I would love to join you on your educational journey!
I offer a 6-week birth education series as well as 2-day immersive classes. Both options contain the same content, with a slightly different flow. Whether it’s your schedule or your learning style that leads you to pick one or the other, you have options! If you don’t see dates that work for you, let me know. I also offer private classes and can do in-person or virtual.
Classes are included in my birth doula package or stand-alone at $450. I ask for a $50 deposit to hold your spot with the rest being due by the onset of classes. Always happy to work out a payment-plan.
Classes will be held at my home near Tahoe Park in Sacramento! We do have 1 dog and he’s very sweet and gentle. Sign-ups will have a minimum of 2 families and a max of 4 families per series. “Families” refers to birthing person plus a birth partner, if applicable! Partners are encouraged to attend! I recommend taking classes in your late second trimester to early third trimester, but you’re welcome at any time.
Let’s dive in!

Placenta Prints
It would be my honor to lovingly take your placenta and create a timeless piece of art that you and your family can treasure. If I am your doula, then I can simply bring your placenta with me in a cooler when I leave the hospital or your home. If I’m not your doula, you can have someone drop-off the placenta or I can pick it up from you for a small transportation fee.
You decide whether you’d like:
a natural print (just a direct print of your placenta on high quality watercolor paper): $30
a natural print with gold or silver tracing that may leave room for artistic interpretation: $40
a watercolor-embellished print (you can choose the colors and style if you’d like): $50
all 3 styles: $60
If you would like to do this process together, I can provide the supplies and love to co-create! It can be a beautiful way to honor your placenta together and can include partners, children or other family members. You can keep it afterwards or I’m happy to dispose of it for you.
My fees range from $30-$60 depending on what you’d like! If I’m your doula, you can add this service on at any point, even after you give birth.
